I love the way the picture splits Wyatt (Hugh Jackman) from Jonathan (Ewan McGregor) and S (Michelle Williams)

Being a huge fan of all things Hugh Jackman I was surprised to come across this intriguing looking movie poster, mostly because I had no idea this movie even existed.

Anyway like all movies about people who have been lied to for various reasons the movie was good. What made it better however was the ability of its cast members to bring their characters to life.

Ewan McGregor immerses himself into the character of Jonathan so well that I almost believed he was really a man who enjoyed crunching numbers, with no social life, instead of the highly professional actor that he is.

People may disagree with me if they watch it but I think Hugh Jackman did a splendid job as Wyatt. He was enigmatic and I couldn’t blame Jonathan and S for being drawn to him. He had the smile, the walk, the talk, the appeal, and promises of luxury. He dangled in front of Jonathan a life he (Wyatt) knew he (Jonathan) would never experience without his help.

He was purely deceptive in the way he operated not just with the lies he told. Some people may not like to see Hugh in this role and others may thoroughly enjoy it. Whatever your take is on it, is yours…and this is mine.

4 Stars mainly because of the cast and what I consider a great performance.
